Junior Photography Foundation Programme (Ages 11–18) 1:1 Foundation Programme
Junior Photography Foundation Programme (Ages 11–18) 1:1 Foundation Programme
PH-ART-ED Junior Photography Foundation Programme — 1:1
A structured, hands-on photography course teaching real camera skills, creative confidence, and professional foundations — finishing with a framed photograph and certificate.
Ages 11–18 | 6 Sessions | 12 Hours Total
This Is Not a Workshop.
It’s a Personal Photography Programme Designed to Build Real Skill, Confidence, and Focus.
Most photography workshops for young people last a few hours.
They’re fun. They’re social. They’re forgotten.
The PHARTED Junior Photography Foundation Programme is a six-session, one-to-one mentorship programmedesigned for young people who want to properly understand photography — not just try it once.
Over twelve structured hours, your child is guided from camera confusion to creative confidence, finishing with a framed photograph and a certificate of completion.
Flexible Location — Your Choice
This programme can be delivered:
From my dedicated home-based training studio, or
In your own home, depending on location and preference
Both options offer the same structured programme, outcomes, and level of support.
If sessions are delivered at your home, a small additional travel charge may apply depending on distance. This will always be discussed and agreed in advance — no surprises.
Why One-to-One Works
One-to-one delivery allows:
Teaching paced entirely to your child
Calm, focused learning without pressure
Immediate feedback and reassurance
Faster skill development and confidence.
This programme is not hourly tutoring.
It’s a complete learning journey with clear outcomes.
What Your Child Will Learn
Camera Control & Manual Mode
Your child will learn how a camera actually works, including:
Shutter speed, aperture, and ISO
Focus, stability, and camera handling
Making exposure decisions intentionally.
Manual mode is introduced from the very first session.
Practical Photography in Real Environments
Across multiple sessions, your child will:
Work with natural light
Learn composition and framing
Photograph people, movement, and environments
Shoot with purpose rather than guesswork.
Learning happens by doing — not watching.
Editing, Selection & Presentation
In the final sessions, your child will learn:
How to edit photographs with restraint
Why certain images work better than others
How to select their strongest image
How to prepare it correctly for print.
They finish the programme with a professionally printed and framed photograph they can be proud of.
How This Differs From Workshops
Workshops
One-off sessions
Limited progression
No finished outcome
Ongoing progress.
PHARTED Foundation Programme
Six structured sessions
Twelve hours of private mentorship
Coverage of the whole photographic process
Progressive learning and reinforcement
Editing and presentation included
Framed print and certificate of completion.
This level of depth simply isn’t possible in a single workshop.
What Your Child Takes Away
By the end of the programme, your child leaves with:
Confident use of manual camera settings
A clear understanding of light and composition
Storytelling and visual skills that last a lifetime
Editing skills they can continue independently
A framed photographic print
A certificate of completion
Increased creative confidence
Parents regularly comment on the confidence boost as much as the skills learned.

Young people aged 11–18
