I don't just photograph your wedding day, I put it in order. Every wedding becomes a sequence — the excitement of getting ready, the walk down the aisle, the vows, the speeches, the dancing nobody choreographed — laid out so when you look back years from now, you're not glancing at a set of moments, you're living the day again.
That's what documentary wedding photography means to me: not staged, not styled beyond what's already there, just your day, told properly, in order, so remembering it is as easy as opening the album.

What makes your approach different from other wedding photographers?
Visual creativity and depth of story matter more to me than a checklist of poses. I work as a true documentary photographer — reading the day as it happens and building it into something that holds together, not a set of separate shots.
What's it like actually having you there on the day?
Calm, mostly. After 14 years photographing real weddings, I bring steady energy to busy mornings, emotional ceremonies, and packed dance floors — the kind of presence that lets you forget I'm there. For premium bookings, I can also bring my partner Elena Pavlova, a Ukrainian portrait photographer with an editorial specialism. Between us, we create the full story of your day.
Will you take over my wedding day for photos?
Only for as long as it takes. If you'd like a few relaxed portraits, I'll guide you through them efficiently, so the time stays short and the rest of the day stays yours.
Will I just get a folder of individual photographs at the end?
You'll get more than that — everything I photograph is built into a sequence, a story that holds together as a whole collection, in the order the day actually happened. My filmmaking follows the same idea: natural storytelling, not staged.
What if my wedding isn't a big traditional day?
Every kind of wedding gets the same care, from intimate registry office days to full celebrations at a venue. Collections are structured clearly and simply, so you know exactly what's included before you book.
Can you do photography and filming together?
Yes. I create visual stories with photography, film, or both together, drone included where it adds something to the story rather than just height for its own sake.
How do we receive and keep our photos and films?
Everything arrives through an online gallery, downloadable and free for the first month. After that, a lifetime security upgrade keeps your gallery open for access wherever you are, whenever you want it.
Do you travel for destination weddings?
Anywhere. Name the country and I'm there — international coverage is part of what I offer, not an exception to it.

In The Box is a portrait experience built into your reception. One at a time — or in groups — your guests climb inside a giant cardboard box and I photograph them from above. No posing instructions. No stiff smiles. Just people being exactly who they are, framed in a way that makes every single one look brilliant.
The result is a full grid of portraits — your whole wedding, your whole crowd — delivered as a single composite image that tells a different kind of story. Funny. Warm. Completely unique to you.

Editorial Portraits With Elena
Some weddings call for a second creative perspective. Elena Pavlova is a Ukrainian portrait photographer with a distinctive editorial eye — composed, elegant, deeply personal portraits alongside the honest, unguarded moments documentary photography lives for. Bookings that include Elena begin with an engagement shoot at your venue, so nothing's left to chance on the day. Her availability is limited, so this is something we'll discuss directly once I know more about your day.
