Photography Studio

Well we're really excited now.  Our studio is almost ready to open to the public.  Lisa will be specialising in Maternity photo shoots, Newborn photography and Children's portraits.  I will be looking after Family photo shoots and Adult portraiture.  Between us we will be conducting Engagement photo shoots for our wedding photography clients as well.

Personally, I need to start working on my branding and price structure now and then I will be able to begin my marketing campaigns.

The nice thing is that Lisa is all ready to rock n roll!  She has her branding and pricing structure in place already and can now start taking bookings for her side of the business.  So if you want to get in touch with Lisa for her portraiture, then please click here.

If you would like to talk to us about our wedding photography, then please drop me a line by clicking here.

If you're thinking of getting some family portraits done or are interested in having a portfolio created, please click here.

Please keep an eye on our websites and Facebook pages for the announcement of our open day, where we'll be inviting guests to come and view our studio, may'be have a little drink with us and get a free digital portrait.  Our announcements will come on the following pages on Facebook:

Hinckley Photographed, Hands On Photography, Paul Hands Photography, Little Hands Photography or my Google + page

New Photography Studio

Work on our new photography studio is coming along very well thanks to my Wife Lisa's efforts at the weekend at building the furniture.  Also thanks to my Brother Simon helping me to lay the flooring down.  It's actually starting to look like a studio now.  Soon we will be able to announce a launch date where we will be taking bookings for Engagement, Maternity, Newborn, Child, Families and Adult portraiture.  If this is something you could be interested in, then please drop me a line here.

Paul Hands Photography Update

Hi again, well it's been a little while since posting on my blog.  I've been rather busy.  Me and my wife Lisa have been very hard at work with designing and building our new photography studio, which is now almost ready for an announcement of our open day.  Please keep an eye for this because it's gonna be a great day where we'll be giving free portraits to anyone that comes along.

We've also been very hard at it with our photography studies and producing awesome commercial photography projects.  I've been working on Guinness, my favourite beer of course! Here's a little teaser, showing the style of portraits being used in my Guinness advert (using my wife as a model)!

I've also been tinkering with my commercial photography brand and pricing structure.  I've managed to keep it simple and the nice thing is my prices and commercial photography have already been proven to be exactly what my clients want and are happy to pay for.  You can have a look at the structure here, believe me it's very easy to grasp.

I'm already taking lot's of bookings for 2015 and it seems like it's going to be a very busy year. A challenge that I'm ready for and really excited about.  So I'll finish with a hook, let me know if you need any photography asap.  If you like my style, then please do get in touch quite quickly because there is only one of me.

Back at Uni

So I've been back at Unit for a week and already my head is fit to burst!  I've been given 3 briefs already, a commercial photography brief, a 2000 word essay to accompany it and a professional practice project.

Well I'm excited about my commercial photography brief.  It's based around advertising and I've chosen a fantastic product... Guinness.

I'm going to have my buried in a ton of books over the next couple of weeks but once I start creating the photography for the project, I'll be showing some off on my blog.

Check out my new website, it's awesome!

For those of you that haven't already seen, I've revamped my website.  I must say that I love it and feel it works so much better than my original site.

I've opened a shop within my site too, and there is two products for sale at the moment.  You can buy a print or one of my books using a secure payment system.

More importantly, I have a great platform to exhibit my work on-line now.

I've also set it up so that I can show my work as a commercial photographer and public relations photography within Hinckley, Leicestershire in the Midlands.

New Website

I've redone my website and changed the template theme all together.  I've done this for SEO reasons.  Most of my website wasn't designed very well for commercial photography and public relations photography.  Plus there wasn't there right areas available for me to input my SEO keywords and phrases.

As an added bonus I think this shows off my talents and my photography much better.  I'd appreciate some constructive criticism if you have the time to have a look through and give me some feedback.

I've spent some time multiplying my keywords and phrases so that they come up in a Google search more easily.  I think I've got a grasp on it but you can never be sure.  Well I hope this works better for me.

Night Photography Hinckley

I love making photographs at night time and in low light.  The colours in the images are such much more vibrant than in the day time.  There is a bit of skill to getting the shots too.  I spotted the Super Moon last night in Hinckley as I was driving home.  I knew as soon as I saw it that I would be running in home to grab my camera gear and tripod.  I raced back to the location I spotted the moon because it moves really quickly and I didn't want it to move out of the frame that I'd pictured.  Well here's the result...  It did actually move slightly out of position to how I imagined it but never the less, this still looks quite cool.
