Exciting Photography Project for the History of Hinckley

October 02, 2014

I'm searching for people that worked anywhere on the site of the new bus station redevelopment project 'The Crescent'.  The art college in Hinckley (NWHC) has received some funding from Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council and Bowmers (the contractors) to produce a creative and artistic project to exhibit large scale portraits of people that worked on the site at any point in their lives.  This is fantastic news because this will secure the history of this local part of Hinckley for many years to come.  So if you have worked here or know anyone that has, please drop me a line with your phone number, email address and preference of a Thursday 1pm - 7:30pm or a Saturday morning between 9am and 1pm.  This will be to come in to the studio at Hinckley college to have your portrait created.  The photographs will be blown up and placed on billboards surrounding the bus station development along Waterloo Road.
